Every year that we get to celebrate Misty's birthday with her, so we're celebrating as many days and as many days as we.can.

Jackson got to

See Natalie and Trent for the first time as a married couple. And he also go to meet Aria for the first time.  Misty and Dan drove through the night after watching  Hyrum's football game last night.

Is serious business around here.  It is an all out sewing effort and Natalie is doing a great job. I just tell her that sewing is half sewing and half unpicking.   That is my experience, anyway.

HAIR

Hair was a big topic of conversation in Missouri.  Jackson's hairstyle had changed radically since he left on his mission.

Harrison wanted his hair cut just like Jackson's, so we went to the hair salon and made a family event of the big cut.

even sticking the selfie stick behind the partition to get shots.

And then a few days after we got home, the Bishops got family pictures.  When we saw them we noticed there was another brother with "the cut."

There are just a couple of holdouts now.

July 27 - August 2 Retirement Roadtrip - MISSOURI

And then we rolled into Missouri!

It didn't take long for the fun to begin.  We visited Dan in his new office and went to a baseball game and watched Harrison play baseball.

The next day was Jackson's 20th birthday. (after being home for 2 days from his mission)

We always enjoy lots of outside time with pitching and hitting, fishing, playing with animals, and the birthday boy getting covered with silly string.

Marshall and I started a Cardinal's puzzle, but after spending a little time on it he decided his back hurt and he needed a break.

Before we left, it was close to being done, though I didn't get a picture of it.

On Sunday at church, Jackson shared his floral ties with all the men.

It was wonderful to have all the Bishops together again.  It will only last for a couple of more weeks though, when Misty and Dan drive Jackson out to school.
