a common phrase I’ve heard and used all my life. For my grandchildren, or those who may have never heard that phrase, it basically means that after all is said and done, or after it is all over, what really matters is ______(fill in the blank). For me, it all boils down to the people I am blessed to have in my life.

I think the
boys are more than ready for the Idiarts to arrive tomorrow. Although we've played kickball, gone on walks, been to Provo Beach, gone to dinner, and gone miniature golfing again, you just can't get around the fact that Grandma and Grandpa are not that exciting! They are looking forward to having cousins to play with. (Lydia is off to Especially for Youth at BYU for the week. The fact that she hasn't called Misty is a sure sign that she must be having fun)

Yes, grandparents are only fun for so long.
Sorry you are going through this. You are very nice to help him out. I wish I had some sage counsel but I don't. Denial is the first stage of grieving. Anger comes down the road, then acceptance.
