a common phrase I’ve heard and used all my life. For my grandchildren, or those who may have never heard that phrase, it basically means that after all is said and done, or after it is all over, what really matters is ______(fill in the blank). For me, it all boils down to the people I am blessed to have in my life.

A good day to . . .
get my annual mammogram. Freebies because October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
It was also a good day to go to Chili's. Although, it seems that we make our way there at least every other week. Gary feels very special that he gets a personal email coupon from them for a free appetizer. We always get the chips and queso Then we share a meal and walk out with another meal. And Gary always scrapes the pan very, very clean. In fact, he doesn't like me to do it because I'm not quite as fussy about it.
I'm happy to have him do it.
