a common phrase I’ve heard and used all my life. For my grandchildren, or those who may have never heard that phrase, it basically means that after all is said and done, or after it is all over, what really matters is ______(fill in the blank). For me, it all boils down to the people I am blessed to have in my life.

Dad
This was one of the most difficult days of my life,
Of all the parents I teased through out my life, golden was the best. He was truly "GOLDEN" you could never get one over on him and the respect we as your friends, had for him was amazing. The day will come when I will get to tease him again. Thank you Annette for sharing your family with us.
Thanks mom. Reading the obituary brought tears to my eyes. I love Grandpa with all my heart and look forward to seeing him again someday. He had a perfect way of making each of us feel like we were his "favorite." That is a trait he carried on to you. love you.
Thank you for posting that! I was so young when he died, I never really read it. My memories of him are small, but they are all wonderful! It was a beautiful tribute to him and his life.
One of the things I loved about Grandpa was his smile! I have so many memories that come flooding back just thinking about him. It's so nice to remember the great people that have been and always will be a part of my life. Thanks for helping me remember today! Love, Misty
Thanks Annette. That was very special. He is an outstanding man. I hope to be even a fraction of the man he was. What a great exemplar he was. We will all be together someday, laughing and singing and dancing.
