I remember when Tom would come up to visit his kids when they were younger, and there would be many amicable discussions going on. Tonight we got on the subject of personality types and what constitutes being too much of a worrier/planner/stress case, etc. We tackled those subjects while Bree and Amelia kept us entertained with arranging apples and tumbling. It took me back to when their parents were doing just that not too many years ago.
a common phrase I’ve heard and used all my life. For my grandchildren, or those who may have never heard that phrase, it basically means that after all is said and done, or after it is all over, what really matters is ______(fill in the blank). For me, it all boils down to the people I am blessed to have in my life.

It has been so nice
spending time with Tom and Lynn and family. Last night we went to Brick Oven and sat in the Nostalgia Booth (the one that has the picture of the back of Gary's head). Tonight we had Stephanie and Bryce and Jared over.
