Big Day Tomorrow . . Jackson Returns Home

and not because it is another day of our road trip.  Jackson is flying home to Missouri tomorrow and returning from his mission!  I can't wait to see the pictures from the airport!

We thought it might be a bit much for the family to deal with if we showed up just as he arrives, so our plan is to get there the day after..  We met with him the day before we left on our road trip to pick up some boxes he didn't want to fly home.

July 10 - 12 Retirement Road Trip Martin's Cove & Mt Rushmore

Day 1 our bags were packed.  Quite a bit more than baggage than our pioneer ancestors used in their handcarts.  I can't believe I'm descended from such strong people who braved the elements.  Martin's Cove, Wyoming is very WINDY.

We had a senior moment on day 2 when we saw the road sign.  We're we going in circles?  

Then we were photo bombed by Crazy Horse, a horse, and 4 presidents.

Ashton Reunion

We always enjoy having Margie and Lance come up from Arizona.  We haven't seen them since they returned from their mission in December.  

They brought their grandaugter, Sammy, and I put her to work making a sign for the 4th of July.  

We met up with everyone in Heber for the weekend.  We have been blessed to be with all of our siblings in one week.
