Start with 7 paper bags

Glue and stack them together by making a hot glue line down the middle
and across the bottom of the sack
(see photo -- it is an upside down T)
Trace a point on the open end of the stack of bags


Cut along the the lines (Use some strong scissors to go through all 7 sacks)

Fan the sacks out and put adhesive to connect the final ones. They can easily be stored flat.
I sprayed these very lightly with gold paint.
