I revised this recipe

after trying them at Tiffany's.  Luci loves Nutella, so I wanted to try them out while I was there.

We liked the original recipe, but the bread was a little too dry.  Also, in the original recipe,  the Nutella was added on top of the batter and was swirled in.  But when done that way, the Nutella on the top hardened.  In this adaptation the nutella stays creamy.

Banana Nutella Muffins  -- Makes about 16 muffins

 Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1/2 cup butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 T milk
1 t. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t salt
3 bananas (enough to make 1 c. mashed bananas)

1/3 to 1/2 cup Nutella

Combine butter, sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla.   Add flour, soda, and salt until well incorporated.  Fill muffin tins 1/2 full with batter.  Drop approx 1 T. nutella on top of that.  Then add enough batter so the cups are about 3/4 full.  Bake at 350 for about 18 minutes or until top pops back when after touching it.

Enjoy!
