We were

sad to see Dan go home today.  We sent him off with a pancake breakfast.    He'll come back in a little less than 2 weeks to drive the family home.

In the meantime we went to church and then went up the canyon to check out the spot for the Anderson Reunion next week.

Then Gary and I went over to the school to play kickball with the boys.  When we came home we sat outside on the swing.  That was an everyday thing with Mom and Dad in the summer when the grandkids were there.  I love the feeling of just being able to relax and enjoy the kids and summer.  Part of what made it nice today is that we've had a series of thunderstorms that roll through just long enough to cool everything off.

Mashall is being my little snuggle buddy and helper.  He likes things organized and took it upon himself to put the lids on the cups and add the straws.

Life is Good.
