Crinkled Oranges

A family brought us

some cute sugar cookies a few days ago.  I wish we had taken pictures as they were shaped like gloves and snowmen and decorated so cute.  But, we ate them too quickly before I thought to take a picture (Anyone surprised?)

Along with the cookies was the poem below.  I don't know who wrote it, but it is filled with wisdom.

Enough Happiness to Keep you Happy

During the year may you have
Enough happiness to keep you sweet
Enough trials to keep you strong
Enough sorrow to keep you human
Enough hope to keep you happy
Enough failure to keep you humble
Enough success to keep you eager
Enough friends to give you comfort
Enough wealth to meet your needs
Enough enthusiasm to make you look forward to tomorrow
Enough determination to make each day better than the day before

Happy New Year

Love the poem. It pretty much sums it up, doesn't it?
