a common phrase I’ve heard and used all my life. For my grandchildren, or those who may have never heard that phrase, it basically means that after all is said and done, or after it is all over, what really matters is ______(fill in the blank). For me, it all boils down to the people I am blessed to have in my life.

Whoaaa . . . .
The first words out of my mouth
when I opened the bedroom blinds this morning. Gary had already been out shoveling twice by the time I woke up. What a man!
Phil shoveled at 6:00 and when I left for church the snow was so heavy I could only push the shovel about 2 feet before it had to be dumped. I've lived in Utah most of my life and this was the heavest snow--almost more like water than snow--than I've ever seen. It was beautiful, though, wasn't it?

We miss you, we don't miss the snow. :)
