a common phrase I’ve heard and used all my life. For my grandchildren, or those who may have never heard that phrase, it basically means that after all is said and done, or after it is all over, what really matters is ______(fill in the blank). For me, it all boils down to the people I am blessed to have in my life.

We drove
by our old house last week.
In a manner of speaking,
you could say that
it's gone to "pot."
That, or that the indoor plumbing is
no longer working.
The only thing I can figure is that they are keeping up with your tradition from when we lived there--no landscaping that requires excessive upkeep or weeding. The toilet meets the requirements!

Ha! I remember so much about that house. It's weird to see it now. Maybe they are planning on planting something in there? :)
