Anderson Family

Any time I am with my three brothers,
my sister, and their spouses,
there are two very strong feelings that I have.

First, is a feeling of gratitude.
Gratitude that I am part of a family where
there are such strong bonds of friendship and love.
Gratitude that we find enjoyment in each others company.
Grateful for the heritage of good parents that we share.
I've always felt very blessed in that regard.
The second is a feeling that Mom and Dad would be
(and probably are if they're given glimpses
and are aware of what is happening here)
so happy that we get together as often as we do.
That we have family get-togethers with those who live close
and have these sibling or cousin reunions where we are
all together every couple of years.
That would be very important to them.

Since Mom and Dad have passed on we have gotten
together in San Francisco, Jackson, Yosemite,
Victoria BC, Zions, SunRiver Oregon, Tahoe
Midway, and now Sun Valley Idaho.

Bottom line is,
it really doesn't matter where we are,
but rather that we are together.

I love Annette's blog. Our parents would be happy that we get together so often and so much fun. They laid the foundation for this really nice family.
