Beautiful Day

A beautiful day.
We started out with breakfast
where Lydia proved she loves
buttermilk syrup as much as I do.
We admired her beautiful toenails from when
she went and got a pedicure with Aunt Natalie last night.
We then headed off to the Manti Temple
to attend the sealing of our good friends and neighbors,
Matt and Sharilyn.

Along the way we drove by "Condo 8," in Ephraim
where
Gary got his room and board paid for
with a football scholarship.

You can see that it was a quality abode.
(Moved from the Japanese Internment
camps in Topaz, Utah,

sometime after World War II.)

The ceremony at the temple was beautiful.
We love Sharilyn and Matt and are so happy for them.
While in the ceremony,
Lydia sat quietly in the waiting room.

(I wasn't there to see it, but I'm sure she did)
It was special to be here at the Manti Temple with her
because it is where her mom and dad were married a
little over fourteen years ago.

When we got home
we got the news that Jackson had made

3 home runs in his game at the baseball clinic.
We are going to see them tomorrow,
so we hope he does the same then.

Gary and Lydia just got back from
playing miniature golf while

I stayed home and cut out our matching aprons.
We love having her here!

Buttermilk syrup is the best! It's a beverage, I'm pretty sure.

And her "piggies" are the cutest!

So glad she had that experience at the temple. It is so beautiful.

Your photos are great.

Lydia, That totally made my day to see you standing in front of the temple. I would love to go back with all of us someday. Love, Mom
