Where to Start

Well, we're back home safe and sound.
We had just one little holdup.
When Gary went out to get the car
from the long term parking,
he found the front left tire flat as a pancake.
So, we spent an hour waiting in the shaded pick up
area while he changed the tire on the hot asphalt.
We brought along a couple of very important assets.
Jackson and Lydia have accompanied us home.
Right now I am watching them play Rock Band.

Earlier we were outside testing just how much
weight the hammock could hold (a lot)
and watching Grandpa just about get knocked
over trying to catch Jackson's hard balls.

We've never had any of the grandchildren visit
one on one, or in this case, two on two.
But I love it and plan to do the same thing
with all of them as they get older.
Jackson is heading for a baseball camp
and we have a full week planned with Lydia
doing lots of girl things
(with Grandpa added for a little spice).

With limited time and sporadic Internet access on the farm,
I barely touched the surface of our week there.
But I want to document it all, so I'll be adding little
tidbits here and there
(especially when I'm having a boring day).
