Weaning

We have some surrogate grandchildren here for

a few days, which is good, because it's making the
weaning process from our grandchildren
a little more gradual.

We're fortunate in that both of our son-in-laws
have great families that have welcomed us with
open arms anytime we're around.
We love our grandchildren's other grandparents,
their aunts and uncles and their little cousins.

These cute ones asked if they could call me Grandma.
I said, "Of course,
I'll take all the grandchildren I can get."
I think the most wonderful word in the
English language is
"Grandma."
It melts my heart.
